This exhibit has great photo opportunities! They did a great job immersing you into the potter world. We loved the interactive components, but would’ve loved even more. We enjoyed the opportunity to collect points for our houses. We wished there would have been a keepsake aside from the bracelet you use throughout the exhibit. We took about an hour to make our way through the exhibit making sure to take advantage of every photo opportunity. You can spend more time there reading every description for sure!
We came during the Christmas holiday season; I recommend you come early—the line is endless. After seeing the exhibits in London, the exhibition is okay, but for the price they charge, they could do more. The decorations are poor, and the animations as well. With today's technology, they could add more 'magic' to the place. I've seen better displays when ordering fast food at a McDonald's. P/s: The interactive tag was a little bit difficult to use.
Decided to pop into this exhibit after attending something else in the area. Noticed it seemed quiet for Sunday early afternoon and looked up the ticket using the QR code outside. They had tickets available immediately and decided to see what this was about. It's a cute experience and interactive with a bracelet you register and place at different rooms to engage and win house points.. the decor was really nicely set up for photos and it was quiet at the time to really take good shots. Overall takes about an hour if you walk through and quickly interact with the activities, add more time if you stay for the souvenir shop. Price is decent for the decor and real costumes used in the movies if you are doing other things in the area. If you're looking to have a more potter like experience and buy more unique merch I'd recommend doing this for the experience and pics and heading to the store on 23rd for actual purchasing
We enjoyed the exhibit and the interactive bracelets. There are a lot of items from the movies and several photo ops as well as per purchase professional photos. Any HP fan will enjoy this.
This overall was a fun experience! As a fan it's awesome to see the lore and multiple generations of media for Harry Potter be placed in one walk through experience. I will say that while enjoyable, the price felt less great after the end, as the experience could be alot more interactive and involved with staff or displays. Fun for about an hour and a half, but definitely a one and done. Also, store is nice and filled with non-gimmicky merch and swag!
See HP set memorabilia, brew potions, duel with wands, and learn facts like never before. We had the delight of visiting the exhibition on a Friday evening and had a great time watching the on-theme videos. Push your HP fandom with the interactive experiences offered here. The exhibit’s square footage is much larger than expected, and we spent over an hour from start to finish.
I’m still waiting for my Hogwarts acceptance letter and was happy to see what the school has to offer at the Exhibition in NY.
Great little experience employees are so tired it's really sad. Other than that, it's amazing. Make sure to grab hand sanitizer and your wallet cause a sweater is fro. 130 to 160$ . The cheapest item was a pen for 8$. Pictures are not cheap 25 for 1 and 50 for 8th
Original plans were ruined so decided last minute to go to the exhibition. WORTH IT!!! As fans of the books, movies, and Broadway show we thoroughly enjoyed the exhibition. Interactive with interesting facts. Highly recommend to those who have enjoyed the magic of Hogwarts in all its forms.
